As a Past Master in Craft and Past Principle in Royal Arch, holding Provisional Grand rank and a Director of Ceremonies in both, I have wide experience and knowledge of how masonic functions should run
AS YOUR TOASTMASTER I WILL
Arrange the receiving line and introduce guests to the President & his Lady
Liaise with the Festival secretary, photographer, banqueting manager, band leader, DJ or other entertainment
Call guests to dinner
Announce the entrance of The President & his Lady
Announce Grace by the Lodge Chaplain
Announce the singing of Grace
Announce wine takings between courses
Announce The Loyal Toast by The President
Call stewards to collect ladies' gifts
Announce charity / arrangements for selling raffle tickets
Announce speeches
Lead the President and his lady from the banquet
Announce first dance of President & his Lady
Organise / announce the raffle draw
Any other duties requested by festival committee
Close proceedings as appropriate
Corporate and civic functions
THE BESPOKE TOASTMASTER BY ENSURING THAT PROPER PROTOCOL IS MAINTAINED ENSURES THE EVENT HAS JUST THE RIGHT LEVEL OF GRAVITAS
Civic and ceremonial functions that demand absolute conformity. Correct etiquette, adherence to precedence and the proper use of titles, honours and awards need to be observed to the letter.
These services are just as important for Business events, a company launching a new product or hosting a social evening for clients or staff.
The Chief Executive does not want to be distracted from his role of hosting the evening by trying to ensure that everything is on time and that the correct announcements are made at the right part of function
